This hands-on workshop covers the basics & beyond of installing & running Linux servers hosted by z/VM on an IBM zSeries-architected "mainframe". Each day includes questions & lab exercises to reinforce the concepts discussed during the day.
Learn:
Familiarity with basic CP & CMS commands.
Systems programmers, administrators or anyone else who must to be able to understand and support a z/VM-based Linux implementation.
Instructors are z/VM & Linux for zSeries & experts who have implemented, used, and taught Linux for zSeries for almost its entire existence. They are experienced seminar leaders who regularly make presentations at user group meetings and IBM and other industry conferences.
